Sekcja Klasyfikacji i Analizy Danych SKAD (Data Classification and Analysis Section)

In 1912 the Polish Statistical Association was established in Krakow. Since 1989, the Data Classification and Analysis Section, SKAD, has been one of its chapters. Currently, it consists of several hundred members from many academic centers in Poland. It organisers an annual PTS Scientific Conference of the Data Classification and Analysis Section and the Taxonomic Conference on “Data classification and analysis – theory and applications”. It is a member of the International Federation of Classification Societies (IFCS).
